Management Team

Paulo Rodriguez Heyman – President and Founder

Mr. Rodriguez Heyman has been a process-driven business owner since 2003, with expertise in environmental remediation and heavy civil construction. His areas of focus at Renova include program management, setting long-term strategies, and advancing the company culture. His certifications include OSHA 40 HazWoper; U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors; CDL-A license; and from the NJDEP in subsurface evaluation, UST closure, and tank testing. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston University.

Mikhail “Mick” Gutchigian – Executive Vice President

Mr. Gutchigian has 17 years of experience in the environmental remediation, geotechnical construction, and heavy site civil fields. He is responsible for the management of the field division personnel and heavy machinery. He also serves as Estimator on key projects. His certifications include OSHA 40 HazWoper, OSHA Confined Space Entry, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors, CDL-A license, CPR/First Aid, and helical pile installation.

Jim Seliga – Vice President of Operations

Mr. Seliga brings more than 30 years experience in the environmental construction industry, with diverse skills that range from client management to project estimating. On the job, Mr. Seliga is well-versed with soil stabilization, remediation systems construction, landfill capping, slurry walls, MGP remediations, sheet piling, water infrastructure, demolition, and various other implementation strategies.

Tom Bykow – Vice President of Construction

Mr. Bykow has 25 years of management experience in the construction industry, including 18 years in environmental project management. He has the proven ability to manage and track large, complex projects requiring demanding schedules, fast‐track production, and application of immediate corrective actions in response to site‐specific difficulties in execution. Mr. Bykow effectively implements quality control measures, manages risk on firm‐fixed price contracts, and interfaces between internal resources and project teams. Mr. Bykow’s projects consistently achieve a safety record of zero lost time accidents. Mr. Bykow received the distinguished Commander’s Coin for the remediation of the Chemical Insecticide Corporation Superfund Site and managed the 2010 Engineering News Record (ENR) Environmental Project of the Year Horseshoe Road project.

Kelly Giles – Senior Project Manager

Ms. Giles has been in the environmental field since 2014.  Her experience includes conducting and managing field work for soil and groundwater investigations and remedial actions, work plan and regulatory report writing, proposal compilation, and oversight and management of field operations.  She has managed complex remediation and construction projects and excels in working and communicating with clients and all project stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics.  In addition, Ms. Giles serves as Renova’s Laboratory Manager and is responsible for all QA/QC measures and Standard Operating Procedures in order to maintain Renova’s certified laboratory accreditation with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.  Her certifications include OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, CPR / AED / Basic First Aid, X-Ray User Safety, UXO Recognition and Avoidance, and USACE CQM Certification for Contractors.  She received a B.A. in Biology from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.

Ryan Bilgrav – Project Manager

Mr. Bilgrav has been in the environmental field since 2015. His experience includes managing field work for soil and groundwater remedial activities, evaluation of field data, generating estimates and proposals, and report writing for private and government clientele. Mr. Bilgrav manages remedial construction projects through direct oversight of field operations, subcontractor management, and preparation of project plans. Mr. Bilgrav also maintains Renova’s certified laboratory accreditation, an integral part of the field support services offering. His certifications include OSHA 40 HAZWOPER, OSHA 30-hour Construction, OSHA Confined Space Entry, USACE CQM Certification for Construction, UXO Recognition and Avoidance, and First Aid/CPR. He received a B.S. in Biology from Stockton University.

Kristin San Andres, MBA – Office Manager

Ms. San Andres has been in the operations division at Renova since 2009. She is responsible for managing the operations division personnel, developing and implementing Renova’s internal policies and procedures, billing coordination, accounts payable and receivable, human resource procedures and preparing and maintaining various financial reports. She received a B.A. in History from Rowan University and an M.B.A. from Monmouth University.

Eric Scholey – Foreman

Mr. Scholey has over 10 years of experience working as an environmental remediation construction superintendent/foreman and heavy machinery equipment operator on federal, commercial, and residential construction sites. He is proficient in geotechnical construction including drilled and driven piles. He is also responsible for conducting daily Tailgate Safety Meetings to address in a timely manner the safety concerns surrounding each task of a project. His certifications include OSHA 40 HazWoper, OSHA 30 Construction Safety, OSHA Confined Space Entry, and First Aid/CPR.

Anthony Denora – Foreman

Mr. Denora has 10 years of experience working as an environmental remediation construction foreman and heavy machinery equipment operator. His certifications include OSHA 40 HazWoper, OSHA 30 Construction Safety, OSHA Confined Space Entry, RCRA Hazardous/Toxic Waste Management, US DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation, CDL-A license with Hazardous Materials Endorsement, and First Aid/CPR.

Dan Wells – Foreman

Mr. Wells has over 6 years of experience working as a foreman and heavy machinery equipment operator. He is proficient in conducting field work, including UST removals, the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, and installing structural supports. As a crew foreman, Mr. Wells is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all field team members. His certifications include OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, 30-Hour Construction, Confined Space Entry and CPR/First Aid.
