[COMMERCIAL] Regulated USTs Removal and Sampling
East Orange, NJ
Removal of multiple unknown underground storage tanks
Project Summary
RENOVA’s client was unaware of the previous use of his property as a service station and subsequently received a letter from the NJDEP which indicated that the USTs on the property needed to be properly closed. The client had a ground penetrating radar (GRP) investigation completed which identified two (2) USTs. RENOVA was retained to remove the tanks and, once they were exposed, additional “orphan” USTs were discovered. RENOVA modified our work scope and, in one mobilization and within one weeks’ time, removed a total of six (6) regulated USTs, ranging in size from 550 to 6,000 gallons. Soil sampling was performed under the direction of an outside Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP).
Access to the business was maintained throughout the duration of the site work. RENOVA completed the project safely and efficiently.
